Intro to Adaptive Cooking – Self-Paced
Designed for those living with vision loss to regain confidence in the kitchen by learning to cook delicious recipes that are both nourishing and delicious. This adaptive cooking course focuses on cooking in the air fryer, microwave, and slow cooker. Tap into your senses of smell and taste as you learn to prepare tasty main dishes, sides, and desserts. Completing Intro to Independent Living Skills first is recommended.
Workshop Details
What will I learn?
- Learn basic recipes and strategies for air fryer cooking.
- Explore beginning recipes and techniques for microwave cooking for one.
- Practice slow cooker techniques and recipes.
What should I expect?
- Ten self-paced lessons to take any time, any day offered through BI’s Canvas website.
- Text, visuals, audio described and video formats.
- Supply lists are included like bump dots for actual in-home facilitation.
