Consultations are one-on-one meetings with our specialists who will determine ways we can help you thrive. From here, we can also direct you to the best resources available.
Service
Braille Institute’s trained Orientation & Mobility specialists are here to help you find your way around again for a new normal that keeps you active. We’ll work with you one-on-one so that you can be on the road again either alone, using a white cane, or with a guide dog. We also work with your caregiver to best support them as a human guide.
Service
If your vision is affecting your ability to perform daily tasks, Braille Institute’s Low Vision Rehabilitation Service can help you. Our occupational therapists will complete an evaluation of your abilities and your vision impairment and recommend services to help you adapt. From magnification devices to maximize your remaining vision, to techniques for completing tasks and getting around, we’ll help you get back to your real life.
Classes
Classes are specifically for registered students and/or by appointment. In order to take a class, you must have completed our onboarding process and submitted a doctor referral form. Not a student?
Class
In this class, we listen to and discuss classic rock music of the 60’s and 70’s, focusing on the words but not neglecting the music to deepen our understanding and appreciation of the works, their creators, and the times.

Class
Learn printmaking, or making multiple copies of an artwork. Students will use objects and inks to create a 2D composition, then utilize a printing press to create copies.
