Youth Services
Braille Institute’s amazing Youth Program offers fun, camaraderie and the opportunity to build a solid foundation for school-age youth ages 7 to 18 by working with families and educators through virtual and in-person sessions. The Youth Program actively helps develop independent young adults through self-advocacy, determination, and peer support via our curriculum inspired by the Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC). What’s more, two renowned national youth programs – Braille Challenge and Cane Quest – were designed by Braille Institute to help youth foster a love for braille literacy and develop confidence and independence with orientation and mobility.
