What will I learn?
- Students will learn strategies for navigating store layouts, locating items, making purchases, communicating effectively with store personnel, and advocating for their needs
What is this class like?
- The student should expect to learn how to properly prepare for a shopping trip as well as navigate a grocery store.
- This includes grocery shopping skills, money and check out skills, and self-advocacy skills.
- The goal is to build confidence and independence while promoting an efficient and successful shopping experience
