Los Angeles is the home and headquarters of Braille Institute. Since 1933, we’ve been serving the visually impaired communities of the Los Angeles area and throughout Southern California from this 741 N. Vermont Avenue location. Our neighbor next door is Los Angeles City College. Public transit is accessible.
All Braille Institute programs and services are available here including the first National Library Service (NLS) for the print-disabled branch library which serves all of central and southern California to the eastern California border.
