What Makes Braille Challenge Special

Braille Challenge now includes 70 regional competitions worldwide and has engaged more than 24,000 students over the past 25 years.

This global footprint reinforces Braille Institute’s leadership in advancing braille literacy as a foundational skill for academic achievement and lifelong independence.

With over 1,300 students taking the Braille Challenge across the globe every year, the experience goes far beyond the competition itself.

Camaraderie

The Braille Challenge offers a chance to meet and interact with other blind and visually impaired kids in a place where we’re all searching for the best versions of ourselves.
