Bold Stripes, Bright Stars, Brave Hearts
March 19 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Braille Institute Auxiliary-East San Gabriel Valley is hosting their “Bold Stripes, Bright Stars, Brave Hearts” 40th Annual Promenade on March 19 and you are cordially invited!
This event is to thank all of our volunteers and honor our country’s Veterans. There will be a reception, silent auction, boutique shopping, lunch, entertainment, and an opportunity drawing.
Your kind support helps provide freedom and independence to thousands of blind and visually impaired people in Southern California.
Tickets are $120 a person. Prices will increase to $135 a person after February 23, 2018.
RSVP with Aliede Bennett, President of Braille Institute Auxiliary-ESGV, at (626)224-1396.
If you would like to leave with the group on coach, the departure location is Frank G Bonelli Park (120 Via Verde, San Dimas, CA). The coach will leave at 8:15 a.m. and the estimated return is 4:00 p.m.
“What is a Veteran?”
A “Veteran” – whether active duty, discharged, retired or reserve – is someone who, at one point in his/her life, wrote a blank check made payable to The United States of America for an amount of “up to, and including his/her life.”
