Introduction to JAWS for Windows

Welcome to our Introduction to JAWS course. JAWS is the best screen reader for Microsoft Windows users. In this 7-module course, you will learn how to change basic JAWS settings, navigate the Windows operating system, find web sites and emails, and edit Word documents.

By the beginning of the first module, you should have JAWS installed on your computer. If you have not yet installed JAWS, please contact me.

I know many of you have different levels of comfort with screen reader technology. I am here to support you, and students have, in past semesters, found that they benefit from learning about each other’s different experiences.
