At Braille Institute we strive to provide access to information and resources to anyone experiencing vision loss or blindness regarding where they live. Community Ambassador Volunteers play an important role in Braille Institute’s community outreach efforts through high-profile presentations and other leadership activities.

In order to reach out to as many people experiencing vision loss as possible, Braille Institute also assigns volunteers to represent the organization at local health fairs and other community events.

To become a Community Ambassador Volunteer you will be required to complete an interview and a series of training sessions. For more information about becoming a Community Ambassador contact a Braille Institute center near you:
