As we celebrate more than 25 years of Braille Challenge, we’re honored to reflect on how the program has grown from a local initiative into a global movement—now reaching students, teachers, and partners across multiple continents. Throughout its history, Braille Challenge has inspired both domestic and international participation, underscoring the universal importance of braille literacy as a pathway to education, independence, and opportunity.

Now entering our 26th year, we’re excited to announce that the2026 Braille Challenge Finals will take placeThursday, June 25 through Saturday, June 27 at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, CA. This three-day celebration will bring together top finalists for testing, workshops, student events, and special programming for families and educators. We can’t wait to welcome our finalists and supporters from across the globe for an inspiring weekend.
