MACULAR DEGENERATION Symposium & Resource Fair:
Tuesday, February 11, 2014, 9:30 -1:00p.m.
Dr. Timothy You, Dr. Stephanie Lu, and Dr. Rebecca Kammer will discuss the latest research on Wet AMD, Implantable Telescope, AREDS, nutrition and the latest research for Dry AMD, and the continuum of care resources available for those experiencing low vision to no vision.
A panel discussion will be held by experts from VisionCare for those interested in learning more about the Implantable Telescope. Resources include low vision aids, cooking demo, digital library services, and daily living skills by Braille Institute.

iPHONE WORKSHOP: Call for more information. Learn more about the capabilities of the iPhone and all it has to offer. Students must bring their headphones to the workshop to follow along with the voiceover portion.
LOW VISION WELLNESS: Wednesdays, 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. Tutoring sessions geared to the specific needs of individuals experiencing vision loss. Friends and family are welcome to participate. Contact the ILS department to schedule an appointment.
UNDERSTANDING VISUAL LOSS SEMINAR – Wednesday, February 5, 6:00-9:00 p.m. Give your family and friends an opportunity to learn about some of the challenges associated with vision loss. Includes hands on activities, sighted guide and sensitivity training.
