| Internship Opportunties for Graduate and Undergraduate Students |
| Braille Institute offers custom designed internships to undergraduate and graduate students for classroom credit. Interns are given the opportunity to work with people who are visually impaired while gaining both academic and professional experience. These positions are unpaid. |

| Volunteer Opportunities for High School Students |
| Braille Institute also provides high school students with volunteer opportunities to fulfill community service hours as a requirement for graduation or for a specific course. Students are assigned to available volunteer positions based on their school's requirement as well as their interests, experience, availability and time commitment. |
