Basically, two main types of instruction are available:
core classes and enrichment classes.

The Core Curriculum
Consists of courses designed to restore independence and enable people who are blind and visually impaired to do familiar tasks in a new way.

The Enrichment Curriculum
Ranges from social and recreational activities to studies in liberal arts, music, history, creative arts and writing.

There is no charge for any of the classes at Braille Institute for qualified individuals. However, you may be asked to pay a small fee for materials in some of the creative arts classes.
