JOIN THE J. ROBERT ATKINSON HERITAGE SOCIETY |
| |
Support for Braille Institute's programs comes from many sources. Bequests, however, remain
the most significant means by which Braille Institute receives the financial support
necessary to provide services to the growing numbers of individuals who come to
us for help. The thoughtful planning of generous and often anonymous individuals
makes much of Braille Institute's work possible.
Occasionally,
those who make bequests to Braille Institute are unknown to us. We do not learn
of their generosity until after they have passed on, leaving us unable to express
our gratitude in person. In an effort to ensure that Braille Institute will have
the opportunity to say "thank you" to all our benefactors, the Braille Institute J. Robert Atkinson Heritage
Society was established.
Named after Braille Institute's founder, The J. Robert Atkinson Heritage Society is our way of honoring those individuals who have provided for Braille Institute's future through a
Will, Trust or Charitable Gift Annuity. If you have included Braille Institute in your estate plans, we invite you to register as a J. Robert Atkinson Heritage Society member.
As a member, you will be recognized in the Braille Institute J. Robert Atkinson Heritage Society honor roll at each of our centers, receive a beautiful framed
certificate of membership, receive our Heritage newsletter and be invited to participate at special Braille Institute events.
Please
allow us to thank you in this special way for playing such an essential role in
Braille Institute's heritage and future. Please contact the Planned Giving or
Development Offices/a> at 1-800-BRAILLE (272-4553) or (323)663-1111, Ext. 1256, Monday
through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., PST.
