What is an auxiliary? What do they do? The benefits of joining! How do I join? |
|||
| What is an auxiliary? | |||
| Auxiliaries are membership clubs that work to support Braille Institute through fundraising and community awareness. There are six auxiliary groups at Braille Institute. Each one determines its own membership requirements and method of raising funds. | |||
| What do they do? | |||
| Auxiliaries support the charitable activities of Braille Institute and its programs, services and regional centers. In addition, auxiliaries heighten community awareness of Braille Institute. Each of our auxiliaries has different projects and goals. | |||
| The benefits of joining! | |||
| In addition to supporting a worthy cause, auxiliaries foster friendships and a chance to enhance their event planning and leadership skills. Not to mention, it's also fun! | |||
| How do I join? | |||
| Each auxiliary determines its own membership requirements but in most cases prospective members are invited to join through a sponsorship process. | |||
| For information on joining an auxiliary, please contact the auxiliary in your area: | |||
